Children are important at New Life Church.  Our goal in Children's ministries is to help them grow in their relationships with Christ and  others. Children are not only the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today. How we disciple them affects their future and ours as well.  The KidZone staff is excited to work with you to give your child Bible-based training. We believe in ministering to your children with excellence.

 

Sundays ~ 10 AM     

KidZone - “A place where kids DO church”

(Kindergarten-6th grade)
KidZone is a place where elementary kids learn about worshipping God in a fun kid-setting.  We use puppets, object lessons, drama, storytelling and other techniques to teach the children about God’s character.  Parents are always welcome to visit KidZone.

  
Early Childhood
(Birth-Kindergarten)
We are committed to providing ministry to children of all ages, including our very youngest!  We have three Early Childhood classes: Nursery Church, Toddler Church and Preschool Church. 
 
Wednesdays ~ 6:30-7:45 PM
Nursery
We wish to minister to your whole family and provide care for your infant. 
 
Toddler/Preschool
This active program for 2 - 5 year old boys and girls uses crafts, stories and songs to teach children about Jesus. 
 
Kidz Explosion
This fun mid-week session is focused on teaching solid scriptural truths which directly apply to kids’ daily lives.  It is accomplished through activity based curriculum which helps them build strong relationships with God and each other.

Other Kid’s Events:
S.W.A.T.- Serving, Witnessing And Training.  If you are interested in training in the areas of drama, human video, puppets, & gospel illusions to reach NLC & beyond, S.W.A.T. is for you!   Summer Camp - Kids entering 3rd-6th grades in the fall are invited to attend Kids Camp at Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria, MN. This is a great opportunity for kids to spend a whole week growing spiritually. Fall Family Fest - On October 31st, we want to provide a safe place for kids to play carnival games and see a special kids show. MEGA Sports Camp - In June of each year, kids K-6th grade have the opportunity to attend one week of great sports training along with a theme that teaches them values about God & sports.  Other events throughout the year include: Kids Fest, Christmas Program, Super Sundays, Summerland, 6th Grade Boys Bash & 6th Grade Glamour Girls and more.
 

Sick Child Policy  

Children with the following conditions should remain out of the classroom whenever your child exhibits any one of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours:

Fever (A temperature of 100< or higher); Children must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol (or other similar medication); Runny Nose Nasal discharge that is either yellow or green; Severe Cough (high-pitched whoop/bark after cough)

Vomiting (twice or more in 24 hours); Diarrhea (runny, or bloody stools)

Unknown Rash (other than diaper rash); Chicken Pox; Eye discharge (thick mucus or pus draining from eye, or pink eye); Child is irritable, continuously crying, or requires more attention than we provide without risking the health and safety of other children in our care.  We are sorry that your child is sick, but we cannot accept them into the classroom.  We look forward to having your child return when they are well!
