Spiritual Growth

Meeting 1st & 3rd Wednesday's, 6:30-7:45 PM

Search for Significance Robert McGee's best-selling book has helped millions of readers learn how to be free to enjoy Christ's love while no longer basing their self-worth on their accomplishments or the opinions of others. In fact, Billy Graham said that it was a book that "should be read by every Christian." In this classic you will gain new skills for getting off the performance treadmill, discover how four false beliefs have negatively impacted your life, learn how to overcome obstacles that prevent you from experiencing the truth that your self-worth is found only in the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of Christ.

Spiritual Growth

Meeting 2nd & 4th Wednesday's, 6:30-7:45 PM

Everything has a starting point—your life, your relationships, your education, your career. Sometimes we forget that faith has a starting point as well. For some of us, our faith journeys began in childhood as a set of beliefs handed to us by a parent, teacher, or pastor. Maybe you developed a framework of faith based on personal experience. Or maybe you had no faith at all. Too often, a faith formed in childhood isn’t strong enough to withstand the pressures of adult life. But what if you could find a new starting point for faith? Whether you’re new to faith, curious about God, or coming back to church after some time away, it’s a place where your opinions and beliefs are valued, and no question is off limits. Come as you are and build relationships with others as you discover your starting point.

Altar Ego: Becoming Who God Says You Are by Craig Groeschel In Altar Ego: Becoming Who God Says You Are, Craig Groeschel believes that we only discover our true identity when we lay down our perceptions of ourselves, and allow Him to tell us who we are. We have a new identity in Christ and once we uncover what that is, our lives will never be the same. Place your false labels and self-deception on the altar of God's truth. It's time to embrace your altar ego and become a living sacrifice, wholly surrendered to God. Are you willing to take the journey?

Women's Study

Meeting 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45 PM

The Longing In Me by Sheila Walsh Sheila Walsh has a simple message on the subject of your longings: Whether you know it or not, all you long for is God. The work of recognizing that may take a lifetime, but the result will be peace, patience, and freedom from the mistakes that have controlled your life. In The Longing in Me, Sheila tells the story of her first marriage--from the car accident that kicked it off to the silence that followed--and the parallels with her troubled childhood she should have spotted from a long way off. Closely guided by the story of King David, Sheila makes it clear that your longings are rooted in a need for God alone--and when it comes to filling that void, nothing else will ever do. You can tap the one fountain that will quench your deepest thirst. You can change the way you respond to life's stresses. You can heal from the past and find joy today. Not someday. Today.

#struggles: Following Jesus in a Selfie Centered World by Craig Groeschel In this timely five-session video-based study, New York Times bestselling author Craig Groeschel taps in to some of the most up-to-date studies on social media to help us understand how it affects our emotions, our relationships, our attitudes, and our beliefs. He offers real-life examples to reveal the depths to which each of us battles with social media, how it masks our real struggles, and how we can reclaim a Christ-centered life. He encourages us to regain control over our lives by rediscovering the principles real life with Jesus brings: contentment, intimacy, authenticity, compassion, and rest.
